¡Hablamos español! / We Speak Spanish
Our team is happy to assist Spanish-speaking patients and families to help make your visit comfortable and welcoming from the moment you arrive.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is all about getting to know you and your dental health goals. We’ll review your medical and dental history, take any necessary X-rays, perform a comprehensive exam, and discuss any recommended treatment. Our goal is to make your visit comfortable, informative, and stress-free.

How often should I visit the dentist?

For most patients, we recommend routine cleanings and exams every six months to help maintain healthy teeth and gums. Some patients may benefit from more frequent visits depending on their individual dental needs.

What if I’m nervous about going to the dentist?

You’re not alone — many patients experience dental anxiety. Our team works hard to create a calm, welcoming environment and will take the time to explain procedures, answer questions, and help you feel comfortable throughout your visit.

What services do you offer?

We provide a wide range of dental services, including preventive care, cleanings, fillings, crowns, cosmetic dentistry, restorative treatments, emergency care, and more. If specialized treatment is needed, we can also connect you with trusted local specialists.

Do you offer cosmetic dentistry?

Yes! We offer cosmetic dental treatments designed to help you feel confident in your smile, including teeth whitening, crowns, and other smile-enhancing options. We’d be happy to discuss your goals and recommend treatment options during your visit.

How can I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy! You can use our website to inquire and we will reach out to help you schedule or simply call our office at 503-648-3912, and our friendly team will help you find a convenient time for your visit.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for 48 hours notice whenever possible to avoid cancellations fees and so we can offer that appointment time to another patient.

When should I bring my child to the dentist?

We love seeing children of all ages! The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children visit the dentist when their first baby teeth begin to appear. Early visits allow us to check the health and development of your child’s teeth while helping them feel comfortable in the dental office environment.

These first appointments are gentle, fun, and focused on creating positive experiences. After the initial visit, we typically recommend check-ups every six months. If your child would benefit from specialized pediatric care, we’re also happy to refer you to a trusted pediatric dentist.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes! We work with many dental insurance providers and are happy to help you understand and maximize your benefits. Please contact our office with your insurance information, and our team can help answer any questions about coverage.

I don’t have dental insurance — can I still become a patient?

Absolutely! Many of our patients do not have dental insurance, and we’re committed to making quality dental care affordable for everyone. We offer competitive pricing and same-day payment discounts to help make treatment accessible whether you have insurance or not.

What forms of payment do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, CareCredit, and most major credit cards. Payment plans may also be available depending on your treatment needs. If you have questions about payment options, our friendly Patient Care Coordinators are always happy to help.

I have a dental emergency — what should I do?

If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, please call us as soon as possible. We make every effort to see emergency patients the same day whenever we can. Our doctors may even come in early or stay late to help accommodate urgent situations.

Most emergency visits begin with an exam and X-rays so we can diagnose the issue and recommend the best treatment. If treatment cannot be completed the same day, we will schedule follow-up care as quickly as possible or refer you to a trusted specialist if needed.

For severe emergencies — such as a knocked-out tooth or significant facial trauma — it may be best to visit an emergency room or urgent care center first, then contact our office as soon as possible for dental follow-up care.

I work Monday through Friday during normal business hours. How can I schedule an appointment?

We understand busy schedules can make dental appointments difficult. Many of our patients balance work, school, and family commitments, so we do our best to offer flexible scheduling whenever possible. Please give us a call at 503-648-3912, and we’ll work with you to find a convenient appointment time.

I need a significant dental procedure. Can you refer me to a specialist?

Absolutely. We work closely with a trusted network of local dental specialists and are happy to coordinate referrals whenever needed. Whether you need an orthodontist, periodontist, endodontist, pediatric dentist, or oral surgeon, we’ll help connect you with experienced professionals we trust.
